In solidarity with our federal government, I instituted my own “Cash for Clunkers” program late last summer.  I paid $300 of cold hard cash to remove this wonder from its resting place on a Missouri farm field in order to get it back on the road, polluting and taking up space.  So far, I’m a couple of grand and a couple of friends into it, and it’s still in the studio just taking up space.  The idea was and is to restore it as a rolling sculpture and work truck.  If nothing else, I guess the flatbed functions as a decent work table.
